This is cover art to a piece of merchandise. Cover art should only be used on pages relating to the merchandise itself to qualify as fair use. |
Documentation
This tag is used to tag cover art from various pieces of merchandise, including comic books, paperback books, DVDs, CDs, and VHS tapes. Basically anything that has a cover to it.
Usage

Parameters
The term portion of the template above accepts the following parameters. Only choose one (1) of the following:
- For comic books: comics or comic
- For regular books (paperback, hard covers, etc.): book or books
- For compact discs: CD, cd, or music
- For any DVDs: dvd, DVD, or video
- For any VHS tapes: VHS, vhs, video cassette
If the template does not have a term defined, it defaults to "piece of merchandise" by default. Thus the template remains fully functional.
