This page is one of Battlestar Wiki Media's many projects. This page serves to coordinate discussion on a particular aspect of this Wiki. The formal recommendations of a project may be treated as policies.

This noticeboard is a location to discuss and coordinate administrative tasks for the Battlestar Wiki.

It is my hope that this place can serve as a location for administrators to coordinate their efforts on the maintenance tasks of the Wiki (it's not ALL fun and games), as well as a spot for our contributors to be able to bring things to the attention of the admins if something needs to be done. Need a protected page edited? An article or picture deleted? Admins will watchlist this page so that your request won't get lost in the shuffle.

Current Administrators

Bureaucrats

Bureaucrats are administrators who have the ability to make other users into administrators. Currently only Joe Beaudoin has this status.

Sysops

Sysops are administrators who have access to move, delete and restore pages as well as blocking malicious users. The current administrators are:

Maintence Staff

Depending on how busy we get, we will assign people to this group. For now our sysops handle much of the load.

Hey, I recently just requested this on the English version of the Wiki, so I'm sorry to ask again. But could I please have my username changed from Sgalovan to "Galjamspe". Thanks again.

Copyright for Created Image

I received a notice that I haven't placed a copyright on this image: http://media.battlestarwiki.org/wiki/Image:Valkyrie_Crest_Av.png

Since I'm unsure which copyright would apply for an image I created of a prop used in the series, I need a bit of advice.

Copyright tags.

Hi. I've received a message for two of my images that states that they do not have copyright tags. However, I have stated for both that they're fair use. I've even edited them to ensure that it clearly states 'Fair use' under copyright status, but the message won't go away. Any idea about what's going on? --Helo87

You seem to understand it now. Text fair use is no good. You have to use one of the image tags to identify it as well. Shane ^{(T - C - E)} 01:38, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Copyright for image uploaded

Hi. I've received a message about an image I uploaded ( Image:Anders BSG 4x05 The Road less travelled.jpg) and that I forgot to add the corresponding copyright. The problem is that I don't know how and where to add the copyright information when editing the image. Help. please :) And apologies for the inconvenience -- Mouan 20:53, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Hey. Check out BWM:ITP for the list of tags. Just do "edit" like you did for this page, and add the correct tag under the source heading. Shane ^{(T - C - E)} 01:38, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
