Summary
Implosion from the Pegasus FTL after being activated without navigational input or most FTL prep - basically letting go of the steering wheel and stomping on the gas and hoping you end up somewhere safer than you are
Pegasus CIC crew knew this implosion would occur if they jumped Pegasus, and Admiral Cain made an earnest attempt to get to a safer distance by ordering all moorings and docking equipment immediately released or cut and reverse docking thrusters fired wide-open regardless to damage caused to the dock or to Pegasus - this decision sacrificed many lives on Cain's orders, and it was this ability to make hard decisions almost instantly and with complete conviction that made her such a respected officer to some of her crew
