An older German soldier on duty at the Peenemünde's train depot vainly engages Troy and Dillon on turbines alongside a younger soldier, and is shocked to discover that the Galacticans' two-wheeled craft is also capable of flight ^{(1980: "Galactica Discovers Earth, Part III")}.

The soldier was portrayed by Bud Walls, who was uncredited but identified with the assistance of computer-aided facial recognition.
