Ty Olsson is the Canadian actor who portrays Captain Aaron Kelly in the Re-imagined Series and the Osiris helmsman in Blood and Chrome.
Olsson was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He attended Canterbury High School, known primarily for the arts, then went on to graduate from Langara College's highly regarded Studio 58, in 1997.
Olsson has appeared in TV productions such as Atomic Train, Stargate SG-1, Flight 93, Dead Like Me, and Just Cause. Some of his cinematic credits include Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Lake Placid, Ignition, Valentine, X2 (X-Men 2), and Walking Tall.
Olsson is married to Leanna Nash, with whom he had two daughters, Mackenzie and Dagan Hunter.
