The Old Man Fart attempts working on his pastime when Tyrol interrupts him, his pants zipped (TRS: "Sine Qua Non").

The H.M.S. Glutton O' Punishment[1] is the name of the alleged expensive, insured model sailing ship[2] that William Adama is seen working on throughout the series.

It first appears when Galen Tyrol appeals to Adama to overturn the tribunal's conviction of Socinus, due to Tyrol's failure to keep it in his own pants (TRS: "Litmus"). Following his recovery from having chest cracked open, the walnut-cracking Adama resumes work on the ship while Anastasia Dualla appeals to him the importance of bring the Fleet together following the schism between himself and Laura Roslin (TRS: "Home, Part I").

Kara "Starbuck" Thrace gifts Adama a statue of Aurora, Goddess of the Dawn to adorn the ship's prow (TRS: "Maelstrom"), but he gifts it back to her dead ass (TRS: "Six of One").

It has been mangled twice: once by Adama's hands o' cranky doom after Kara "Starbuck" Thrace's death (TRS: "Maelstrom"), the second time by Tigh's glutes o' grinding (TRS: "Sine Qua Non"). It is unknown if he packed it away or left it aboard Galactica when it flew into the heart of the sun, the heart of the sun... the heart of the sun, the heart of the sun... (TRS: "Daybreak, Part II").

  1. This is a Battlestar Wiki descriptive term.
  2. In reality, there were three of these; two were auctioned off (one unbroken, the other broken). They were owned outright by production, and not rented as some erroneously contended.
