Daniel "Bulldog" Novacek is a pilot in the Colonial Fleet.

Novacek becomes the first known human to violate the Armistice Line during a black-ops mission planned by the Admiralty, following review of satellite imagery of a large construct via a Colonial telescopic probe directed towards Cylon space.

After his detection, Novacek's stealthstar is scuttled by William Adama of Valkyrie. While he ejected and is believed killed in action, he is captured and tortured by the Cylons (Battlestar Galactica: Cylon War 4).
