Gilbert "Gil" Tanner is part of the Tanner family, and is Benjamin Tanner's uncle.
Tanner grieves with his family following the death of Tim Tanner during the Caprica-Sagittaron Conflict.
Tanner is later killed by Sagittarons and is interred with other family members, such as Amanda Tanner ((Comics: Battlestar Galactica: Cylon War #2)).
