Karyn Michelle Baltzer is a Canadian actress born in Toronto, Ontario, who appeared uncredited as a Baltar cultist in the Re-imagined Series' "Escape Velocity" and "The Road Less Traveled".[external 1]
Career
Baltzer's earliest credited screen role is Tenisha in the Canadian comedy TV movie Curse of the Iron Mask (2007).[external 2] The following year she played Celine, a police officer's girlfriend who becomes a murder victim, in the Vancouver-shot action thriller Kill Switch (2008), starring Steven Seagal.[external 3][external 4] That same year she appeared as Rebecca Bennett in the short film Nobody Special (2008).[external 5]
In 2009 she played Laughing Teen #2 — billed as Karyn Baltzer — in the 20th Century Fox teen comedy I Love You, Beth Cooper, directed by Chris Columbus and starring Hayden Panettiere.[external 6] The film was shot in Vancouver.
Her genre credits include the Sanctuary episode "Uprising" (2011), in which she played Lacynth, a hyperempath abnormal held in an underground refugee camp.[external 7] The episode co-stars Ryan Robbins, Christopher Heyerdahl, and Françoise Yip.
In addition to her acting work, Baltzer has served as a stand-in on several Vancouver productions, including Sucker Punch (2011), the Fox series Alcatraz (2012), the Canadian family series Mr. Young (2012), and the sci-fi miniseries Delete (2013), in which Ryan Robbins also appeared in the lead role of Agent Max Hollis.[external 8]

Personal life
In June 2013, Baltzer attended the Leo Awards red carpet in Vancouver with Ryan Robbins, who was appearing in the third season of The Killing as Joe Mills alongside Aaron Douglas, Fred Keating, and Ben Cotton.[external 10] On 6 September 2014, Baltzer announced via her Twitter account that she and Robbins had married.[external 11] Their child, Harlow, was born in March 2015.[external 12]
