Tanya is the Russian pet form of Tatiana. It is commonly used as a female given name in the English-speaking world.
There are no credits for the actress that portrayed Tanya in either beginning or ending credits. It is likely that she was either related to one of the cast or crew; a similar scenario occurred with the episode, "Greetings From Earth" (where the children were portrayed by Larson's children and Greene's child).
