The Node, the mothership for The Comitat, with various frigates docked (^{(Comics: Battlestar Galactica Classic #3)}).

The Node is the mothership of the Comitat, housing facilities to maintain its frigates that roam the Empyrean Expanse in search of Okaati (and any who aid them) in their pursuit of justice. Imprisoned Okaati are kept aboard the Node.

Wardens and personnel aboard the Node are fully armored and carry energy weapons capable of disabling attackers or escapees. The Node also houses the Comitat leadership, to whom Captain Apollo is brought before and is educated about the Okaati (^{(Comics: Battlestar Galactica Classic #3)}).

Captain Apollo is escorted through the Node by Thane Korbok (^{(Comics: Battlestar Galactica Classic #3)}).

Notes

• During Captain Apollo's incarceration aboard the Node, at least 23 frigates were either docked or on patrol near the aforesaid mothership (^{(Comics: Battlestar Galactica Classic #3)}).
• The Node features numerous prison decks, numbering at least 257 (^{(Comics: Battlestar Galactica Classic #3)}).
• The Comitat races involved with the creation and manufacture of these frigates are never specified.
